Catching up missed Salah

As-Salaamu Alaikum,

Is it permissible for a person to read kazaa, (missed Salah), between the times of asar and Magrib?

For example if you miss Zohr Salah and only get down to reading after the time of asar has come.

Answer

Assalaamu alaykum

It is permissible to perform Qadhaa after Asr. However, it will be makrooh during the last 15 minutes or so before sunset, i.e. when the sun looses its glow and can be gazed at with the naked eye.
