Fast of Shawwaal

Respected Mufti Saheb

Kindly advise regarding the following:

Females who want to fast the 6 fast of Shawwaal- should they first keep qadha of the fasts missed in Ramadaan, should they keep the Shawwaal fast first or can they have a double intention, namely that they are keeping qadha and the fast of Shawwaal at the same time.

Assalaamu alaykum

Fardh always take priority over Nafl. Therefore anyone with Qadhaa fasts should complete that first before keep the six fasts of Shawwaal.

The intention for both cannot be combined.
