Has divorce taken place

Has divorce taken place

Aaw. I had a question to ask regarding divorce and whether it has taken place or not. So about 4 years ago me and my husband got into an argument over something small basically he made an issue out of nothing and started arguing and was angry and he said to me in text message ‘Dont worry you are free from now..I will divorce you today’
He told me to leave the house and i told him you cant just kick me out like that i am not going so after that we never spoke and basically the next day he said again in the morning that if i come back from work and you are here you are divorced and i will chuck you out myself so i got scared and i left because I thought if he comes and he gives divorce then what will happen afer i left i went to my parents house. After that day we had no contact with each other whatsoever and I deleted the messages but I forgot that i had already taken screenshots of the messages so now after 4 years i saw the screenshots in my phone and since then i have been in doubt as to whether the divorce happened then or not because he said in kinaya words in anger and i have prayed somewhere that in some situations if some words are said in anger divorce happens if the man intended divorce.
So recently I messaged him asking what did he mean by this message and he said Isn’t it obvious what I meant and I asked what do you mean its obvious to which he replied you should know. I have been really stressed about this situation as I don’t know whether our nikah is broken or not.

In this situation will the divorce have taken place then at the time of the incident or now since i have seen the messages now and i asked him now and what about iddat will they be iddat or not.

After the wedding we lives together for a week however marriage wasn’t consumated and then I came to live with my parents for a about a month and a half after which we moved in together for only a month after however we slept separate rooms and only saw each-other at night due to work shifts so they was khalwat e saheeha even though have not had any kind of relationship nor has marriage been consummated. The total amount of time we lived together was no more than two months

And also I haven’t received my mahr so will I get that or no.

Jazakallah Khair

Answer

The statement: “Don’t worry you are free from now, I will divorce you today.”, is not Talaaq. He said that he will divorce you, but did not, hence Talaaq did not come into effect.
On the second occasion, you had left the house before he arrived, hence the suspended Talaaq did not  take place.
The Nikah is still valid. In view of Khalwat-e-Saheehah, he has to give your mahr.
