A women owns a well known online business and is in hijaab etc.. Radio islam would like to interview her about being a hijaabi and about her business and how it all started, as it is world hijaab day. She is currently in iddat.
Will it be appropriate for her to accept the offer?

Whether she is in iddah or not is irrelevant to the question.
She should refuse. Hijaab is not simply the covering of the face, as is misunderstood by many. It is a complete system of Hayaa.
Radio Islam does not subscribe to the Qur’aan and Sunnah. It therefore exposes women beyond the degree of need. There is no need for this lady to expose her voice and identity in the public, thus making herself cheap. She should firmly refuse.
