khula

Assalamu’alaikum , im a convert to Islam 10 years ago, i was married for 5 years. i hve 2 sons. i left usa and lived with husband in india for 3 years. i was very unhappy in the marriage. several times i made clear i wanted khula & told my husband i want to khula & not be with him anymore & i said i want to leave india & go back to usa. husband said “go” but kids stay in india with him. later after sometime i did leave usa & when he messaged me i told him in messages i wasnt coming back to him ever. i wanted the khula & khula certificate. he isnt giving. he wont allow me contact wih my sons either. months have passed , i cant find anyone to help me for this khula. i feel like a priosoner forced attached with him
please help me

We are in a foreign country. You are in the U.S.A. Your husband is in India. There is nothing we can do in the matter. You  should approach an Ulama council in the U.S.A.
