What is the law regarding Mehr if a women accepts that her husband must teach her quraan or make her a haafiza. Is this allowed?

 

 

 

 

Answer

Assalaamu alaykum
This stipulation itself cannot serve as Mahr. Some property or cash has to be fixed.
