Musaafir or not?

A man purchased a flat in Jhb for his sons to study. When he purchased it, he made a room for himself so when he does his business he’ll stay there as well. He leaves his clothes etc there as well.

Q) will this man be considered a musaafir when he goes to jhb from Welkom?

2) Are his sons musaafir in jhb? They travel every weekend back to Welkom?

3) Is his wife and other kids musaafir when they go to jhb?

2. If they made intention of making Jhb their second home, then they are not musaafir in Jhb. If they have no such intention, and stay in Jhb for less than 15 days, they are musaafir.
