Rent

A man sold his shop for R150 000. He informed the buyer that the rent is R4000.

After the amount was paid and he took over the shop, the buyer has to pay a deposit to the landlord.

He is now demanding that the seller pay the deposit because it was not mentioned during the sale of the business.

Can the buyer demand that the seller pay the deposit?
