Delay in Asr Salaah

If one got delayed in performing asr salaah and during Asr salaah the athaan for maghrib begins, should he break his salaah and repeat as Qadhaa?

 

 

Answer

Assalaamu alaykum

The Asr should be completed and will be valid. It does not have to be repeated. However, it is sinful to negligently delay the Asr to such a time.
