Salaatul Ihraam

Assalaamu alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakathu

Please advise: what should one do if he is travelling from Johannesburg to Jeddah for umrah and has already read asr salaah, but not salatul ihraam? By the time maghrib salaah sets in, he would be past the meeqaat already.

Dear Sister in Islam,

A separate salaah for Ihraam is not a strict requirement. One can make intention to enter into ihraam after any fardh Salaah.
