Asselamu alaikum dear brothers & sisters,
One of my brothers want to open online nikah website. That is each party post on the website what quality & personality he/she has and what he/she needs from the other partner.
That is, my brother plans to make nikah needing brothers & sisters to post details about themselves & criteria of wife/husband they need. Then, if any opposite sex is interested & fulfilling the requirements, he/she responds through his/her address. Then, the remaining process continues as usual.
That is they discuss through phone call/email/meet personally to see each other & discuss issues.
The job of the website is only to make the search of the marriage partner easy. No photo is posted on the website.
Thus, is it halal for my brother to create such website?
Is it halal for customers to search their partner through this website?
What are the preconditions to do this?
