What to do with Chicken Fat

لسلام عليكم و رحمة الله
When cleaning meat, chicken etc. is it permissible to throw the fat away?
Is it permissible to throw the bones away after eating?

Answer

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh

Whilst it is permissible, if the fat and bones can be of use to any living creature, then it will be an act of wastage to throw it away. In such case one must make it available to the other creation (for example cats and dogs), otherwise one will be responsible for the sin of wastage.
